White Pizza Recipe featuring Garlic!
Not a big fan of tomato sauce? Then this white pizza recipe is for you! Heck, it really is for anyone - it's delicious! Plus it is just an easy pizza recipe, it requires very little to create. Essentially, this is a white garlic pizza recipe, so if you're like any good Italian food lover, you're sure to be pleased with this creation! Serves 4
Ingredients 1 recipe
Easy Pizza Dough
(or store-bought dough), rolled out1 3/4 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, diced (shredded is fine too)dozen leaves of fresh basil, torn into small pieces3 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese3 large cloves of garlic, finely minced2 tsp dried oregano1/2 tsp onion powder1 tsp garlic powder3 tbsp extra virgin olive oilsalt and ground black pepperPreheat your oven to 475ºF. Roll out your dough as indicated in the pizza dough recipe. Using a pastry brush or spoon, coat the dough with the olive oil. Evenly sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt and pepper over your dough. Add your minced garlic across the top of your pizza. Top with basil leaves, then add the cheeses. Place the pizza in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. This easy pizza recipe lends itself PERFECTLY to additives such as sauteed mushrooms, roasted red peppers or even crumbled Italian sausage.
