This easy Alfredo sauce is made up of creamy ingredients that attach themselves perfectly to Fettuccine.
This pasta recipe is very basic, but can be varied by adding sauteed red pepper slices or cooked shrimp for a delicious twist.
You could also add more nutrition with a sprinkling of chopped spinach or other veggies.

Before starting the sauce, bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add in the fettucine. Cook according to the directions on the box. (Usually 8-10 minutes)
While your pasta is cooking...
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium low heat.
Pour in the cream and let simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add the crushed garlic and cheese, whisking thoroughly until the sauce is heated through.
Stir in the chopped parsley and seasonings.
Drain your pasta and scoop onto serving dishes. Top each with a healthy portion of the sauce OR you can just put the pasta back into the pot, pour the sauce over it and toss to evenly coat each strand.
Serve and enjoy!
Pair this simple Alfredo dish with a bright green salad or one of our Antipasti ideas, and then follow it with a light dessert.
Or, a not so light dessert if you really want to splurge.
